WARNING: Scammer Impersonating Sara *** AVISO: Estafadora Imitando a Sara (May 26, 2026)

*** vea abajo para versión en español ***

Sara has recently been the victim of a new trend of immigration fraud in which scammers are impersonating real immigration attorneys across the United States. There is a Florida woman who has been impersonating Sara and scamming immigrants out of thousands of dollars. This woman has been preparing fake paperwork and even putting on fake virtual court hearings in which she represents herself as "Sara Silvia Taylor" and states Sara's California state bar number (291648). U.S. authorities have begun cracking down on these scammers. If you have been a victim of such a crime, please report it to your local authorities and the financial institutions you used to pay these scammers. Please also contact us to let Sara know right away because in addition to your financial losses, you may fall victim to dire immigration consequences. Sara will talk to you at no cost to quickly evaluate the extent of the damage of your victimization and refer you to another reputable immigration attorney, as Sara will not be able to represent you due to a conflict of interest. If you're in doubt about the real Sara you may be interacting with, please refer to the Attorney profile page to get to know Sara and the Team profile page to get to know her staff.

Here is a news story that addresses this new scam:

The Law Office of Sara Silvia Taylor, Inc. is Now SaVia Immigration Inc. (January 27, 2025)

Our firm has been renamed to SaVia Immigration Inc. We are the same business and the same people, but with a new name.

Sara put a lot of time and consideration into coming up with a new firm name that would convey the core values of her business while maintaining her personal touch. As a result, SaVia blends her first and middle names, Sara Silvia, while presenting a bouquet of meanings.  In Latin, the word savia means rational and intelligent, while in Spanish, savia refers to the sap of plants and represents vitality. The pronunciation of savia is also a playful nod to the Spanish word sabia (with a b), which references a wise woman. Finally, the capitalization of the V is meant to highlight the word via, which means pathway.

Essentially,  SaVia Immigration Inc. represents Sara's personal mission to carve out a wise path to immigration through intelligent and heartfelt legal representation. Sara and her team consider clients to be a part of our family and are always given a seat at the table of their immigration cases. Because we know our clients' lives are in our hands, we aim to honor each of those lives by always being mindful of our clients' best interests and forming legal strategies that tap into Sara's extensive experience with, and elaborate knowledge of, the U.S. immigration legal system.
